Beyond Fear: Opening Ourselves to Life’s Infinite Potential
In the pursuit of our goals, many of us have experienced moments of hesitation, a fear of getting our hopes up, and a tendency to hold back from fully visualizing our success.
Perhaps, at a younger age, we realized that excitement about what’s possible might lead to disappointment, so we subconsciously developed a habit of interrupting those moments of imagining what’s possible.
Or… maybe that was just me! 🫠
I realized something about myself.
Sometimes, when I’m going after a goal– I hesitate to visualize an outcome; visualize myself being successful in my pursuit.
In one instance, I noticed that I stopped myself from visualizing. I was a bit confused– like — wait!
“Why are we stopping ourselves from visualizing? Isn’t that what makes it all exciting!?”
As I sat with this realization– that I was interrupting myself from visualizing, I realized that I was trying to avoid being disappointed.
I didn’t want to imagine what was possible, believing it would happen for me, just for it not to happen.
So, “to protect” myself, at some point, I programmed myself to interrupt my visions.
Now, I wanted out!
Though I had the awareness, I also had the habit.
I noticed that not only was I interrupting my visions, but I was also interrupting the automatic thoughts I had when I observed things that I may have an opinion about.
I wouldn’t even allow myself to witness my thoughts, as soon as they started, I would stop them!
As I’ve been processing this awareness and working on reprogramming my mind, Spirit came through with a perspective!
It was a revelation –
Instead of viewing visualizations as judgments or fearing the potential letdown, Spirit has proposed that I consider them as glimpses into a realm of infinite possibilities.
Spirit advised that I stop looking at these mental images through the lens of fear or judgment.
Visualizations are not certainties; they are possibilities.
It’s not about whether they will or won’t happen; it’s about acknowledging what could be.
Not good or bad, just is!
The key is to get excited about these possibilities without being overly attached to specific outcomes.
SPIRIT SAID: If you want it, you can have it.
A crucial aspect of this mindset shift involves recognizing our deserving nature.
I was on Twitter and there was this tweet that highlighted the significance of embodying deservingness, especially for individuals with Mars in Leo (that would be me).
The advice is to act as if you deserve it. Know that there can be no one else more deserving. And to visualize success without reservation!
This isn’t about wishful thinking; it’s about acknowledging your worth and allowing yourself to believe in the potential for success.
In this journey of embracing possibilities, the emphasis is on NOT being attached to a specific outcome but cultivating hope.
It’s about letting go of the fear of disappointment and replacing it with trust — trust in yourself, your abilities, trust in Spirit, and the unfolding journey before you.
So, as we continue on our awakening journey, may we remember to open ourselves to life. Visualize success with excitement, and free from the limitations of fear.
You are not only capable of success; you deserve it.
No matter what the outcome is, it has purpose!
